These positions are responsible for enforcing Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 565
(State Lottery) and administrative rules specifically those pertaining to the
operations of the Wisconsin Lottery. The investigators are also responsible,
as part of the overall security and integrity of the Lottery and lottery
products, for ensuring that policies and procedures for the physical and
electronic security are adhered to by Lottery employees and contracted
providers. The investigators conduct routine to complex investigations of
any violations of statute, rules or policies, and contract requirements.
They prepare reports of investigative findings and submitting them to
management. In addition, they conducts employee background investigations
and maintain contact with other state agencies such as the Department of
Justice, the Attorney Generals’ Office, Department of Trade and Consumer
Protection, as well as other law enforcement agencies.
