Delta Waterfowl Foundation is looking for a Major Donor Data and Research Specialist in their Bismarck, ND office.  This position is well-suited for a critical thinker who enjoys active problem solving in a fast-paced environment, thrives in a deadline-driven role and enjoys implementing best practices in data capture, integrity and analysis.

Primary functions of this position include verification, standardization and organization of current major donor records in Salesforce CRM; accurate and timely processing and reporting of gifts in the Salesforce constituent resource management system; and donor prospect research in support of front-line major gift fundraising staff. Primary responsibilities will include becoming an expert in the use of the Salesforce CRM including some basic system development, data capture, query, reporting and batching functions; creation of standardized departmental data query and report generation; and continuously develop and improve process and procedure to increase data quality, optimize data capture and reconcile financial accuracy.

Desired core competencies include 2+ years professional experience, preferably in a non-profit organization, in a data/database management role with direct responsibility for data entry, integrity and report generation in a relational (preferably open-source) CRM such as Salesforce, Raisers Edge, Donor Perfect or similar donor/constituent database; 2+ years professional experience with donor and/or customer prospect research and analysis; demonstrated ability to manage considerable volumes of data; Salesforce or similar open-source, relational database experience preferred, and excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite is a must.
