CHIPPEWA COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
The Chippewa County Housing Authority (CCHA) is seeking an individual with 3+ years of experience (HUD experience a plus) in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, employee benefits, grant reporting and other office duties.
Desired Qualifications and Education:
- Associates Degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of three (3) years recent work or field experience in accounting.
- Accounting in a government setting preferred.
- Experience with Wisconsin Employee Trust Funds preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
Appointment conditional upon successfully passing background check. A valid driver's license is required. This is not a County position; the Housing Authority is an independent government agency.

Chippewa County Housing Authority offers an excellent benefit package including retirement, health and life insurance, flex plan, deferred compensation, longevity, income continuation, 9 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, and accrued personal time. 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Starting wage is $17.00 - $19.43 per hour depending on the education and experience of the person hired.
