ESU 2 is looking for a person who will act as a Navigator & perform duties associated with students and families in need of social/emotional support.
Position is permanent & serves all ESU 2 school districts.
Duties: assist ESU 2 school districts build a system to self-evaluate & identify students who need help.
Provide training opportunities.
Assess student's needs & develop plans & strategies to improve social development & wellbeing.
Help families & students access needed services & community resources.
Work as part of an IEP team.
Qualifications: 4-yr degree in Social Work or Human Services preferred.
Equivalent experience as a Social Worker, licensed mental health practitioner, therapeutic counseling will be considered but not required.
Position requires excellent written, verbal & presentation communication skills.
Attention to detail, self-starter & able to work unsupervised is a must.
