At YSS, we give children, teens and young adults the opportunity to find their voice, make healthy choices, feel safe and secure, learn life skills, heal with compassion, grow their confidence and-together, stand strong.
Whether we're providing safe housing and pre- and post-natal care for young mothers, residential addiction treatment for teens, afterschool opportunities for children or counseling for families, YSS' comprehensive network of empowerment programs serve all ages of youth.
Our therapists provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth, families, and adults through a variety of therapeutic modalities in order to alleviate identified mental health, behavioral, and/or substance use problems.
A Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology with current licensure to practice the profession in the state of Iowa is required.
