Manager of Accounting Missoula Electric Co-op is seeking a Manager of Accounting. Must be self-motivated, dependable, have a high degree of integrity and possess strong leadership skills. Provides the CFO with accurate, timely financial information. Assists CFO with financial stmt preparation and annual budget. Responsible for work orders and fixed asset management, preparation of property tax, and other required reports. Responsible for supervising accounting staff, organizing and directing the accurate, timely accounting functions within the accounting department. B.S. in Accounting required. 3-5 years progressive work experience to include supervision of accounting staff experience is required. CPA designation and experience with a rural electric cooperative is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn all software associated with the position is required. Salary $65k to $85k annually and includes an excellent benefit package. This is an exempt, salaried position. This position reports directly to the CFO and offers a great opportunity for professional growth for the highly motivated individual with CPA designation.
