Fiscal Affairs Director Position The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes understanding and cooperation between Asia and the United States, with offices in Washington, DC, Tokyo, and Missoula. The Fiscal Affairs Director's office is in Missoula. Job Description Accounting for and financial administration of a $3 million/year organization budget with an investment portfolio of $10 million; Oversight of budgeting, transaction processing, and financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements; Establishing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including accounting for federal grant funds; Attending meetings of the Board of Directors and its committees. The qualified candidate should: Be proficient in nonprofit accounting (with accounting degree or CPA license) Have experience with Federal grant policies and requirements, accounting software, and office software; Have experience managing people, budgets and limited resources; Have excellent verbal and writing communication skills; Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with members of government, academia, colleagues and partners in Japan and East Asia, and a distinguished Board of Directors.
