Southwest Montana Community Health Center in Butte, MT, is currently looking for an experienced 
Curriculum Coordinator. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Curriculum Coordinator is a talented individual who is committed to educating students to become successful members in the integrated healthcare field. The Curriculum Coordinator serves as a liaison between local colleges and institutions who are preparing students for careers in the integrated behavioral health and allied healthcare fields. The Curriculum Coordinator will help create and manage student rotations within our clinical setting. The Curriculum Coordinator must be personable, professional, and believe in teamwork and integrated healthcare settings. In addition, the Curriculum Coordinator develops and maintains effective business relationships with external work sites while incorporating professionalism, respect, integrity, and compassion in all that they do.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and TASKS:
  • Serve as field supervisor for student extended training for hands-on purposes
  • Ensure all Internship agreements are completed accurately and are kept securely
  • Ensure that all updated/approved documents are signed by the appropriate parties
  • Ensure that the appropriate Release of Insurance and agreements are provided to participants (Employers)-providing employers and students with the most current, up-to-date Internship documents
  • Work with Human Resources to maintain the records of all students who participate in field learning experience
  • Ensure all Internship agreements are renewed on an annual basis (calendar year)
  • Maintain appropriate information from programs participating in field experience
  • Meet with students and faculty of participating program to ensure all forms, expectations and agreements are signed and completed
  • Enter attendance for each student, at minimum, on a weekly basis through the completion of the internship term
  • Provide weekly updates to the Program Director to encompass sites visited on student follow-up. A weekly report needs to be sent to the Program Director
  • Coordinate appropriate training that is relevant to student experience and include staff as appropriate and relevant
  • In coordination with participating University Programs, ensure that curricula integrate into student learning
  • Ensure students are properly supervised while in training
  • Ensure that the program selects a high-quality curriculum in alignment with University requirements and expectations of SWMTCHC
  • Collaborate with teaching staff in the development, writing, and implementation of curriculum
  • Manage program implementation of selected curriculum, assessment tools, and any supplemental materials. Align program practices and standards to support quality implementation
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure students have access to appropriate technology needs
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Maintains effective working relationships
  • Preferred degree in education, curriculum development or related field, and/or licensure in the State of Montana for LCPC, LAC, or LCSW
  • Able to critically think, analyze, and communicate findings
  • Works independently and performs assignments with minimal direction
