Community Action Agency of Siouxland is a 501(c)3 non-profit and is seeking qualified applicants to serve as its Fiscal Officer. The Fiscal Officer is responsible for maintaining the Agency's fund accounting system; implementing its cost allocation plan; providing detailed reports to various employees responsible for specific programs and entities which fund or oversee those programs; and, accurately and professionally providing accounting services for the Agency's numerous initiatives. The Agency's annual budget of approximately $10.7 million includes funds from federal, state, and local governments as well as contracts for services. The Agency undergoes an annual audit and various individual program audits as determined by the funding agencies.
Minimum qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Fiscal Management, or a related field. The preferred candidate will have experience in non-profit fund accounting, computer applications, and the demonstrated ability to manage staff. The successful candidate will need to be able to be bonded and will be subject to a pre-employment background check and drug test.
