Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Supervisor, the ER Nurse accomplishes the Department of Nursing's strategic objectives by planning and organizing the assigned functions required to operate and maintain patient care activities and services within the nursing scope. The ER Nurse ensures quality and compassionate direct patient care is provided in assigned areas and maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
If an Associate's degree in Nursing, must have one (1) year experience in a Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department setting AND currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Must present a letter of acceptance on college letterhead, list of courses enrolled for current semester, attendance, and anticipated date of graduation.
Must possess a current unrestricted nursing license from the state of Arizona or another compact licensing state.
