seeks a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, Missouri.
SMMHC is a 348bed Joint Commission accredited long term care psychiatric hospital that complies with the requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). There are two primary services: Adult Psychiatric and Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment. The COO will direct daily operations through exemplary over-sight and management of programs and facilities, based on sound business and clinical practice and effectively integrating treatment, health, forensic and public safety systems.
The successful candidate must provide leadership, direction, planning, fiscal accountability, analysis and coordination of the multi-department hospital. A strong administrative, clinical and medical team is in place to continue the mission of the hospital and its pursuit for clinical and workforce excellence. Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in a behavioral health or hospital administration or related field and a minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of mental health, public health, public or health administration, or mental health law with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity desirable.
