Wells Rural Electric Co. is an electric power distribution cooperative headquartered in Wells, Nevada, that provides service to over 6,000 members spread over 10,000 square miles.
Under direction of the Chief Operating Officer, this position leads WREC's human resources team by directing, planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices. Maintains and enhances the effectiveness of the organization's accounting processes through performance measurement of all accountingudgeting activities.
Provides quality control and oversight for the establishment and maintenance of a secureonfidential payroll, benefits and retirement program.
Provides quality control and oversight of the effectiveness of accounting processes and software systems; in the implementation of studies and procedures to meet rate performance requirements; to audit, test and monitor member services representatives and billing system for accuracy.
Provides quality control and oversight for an enhanced member experience through effective use of existing technologies and promoting innovative initiatives and programs.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Accounting required, however related experience, associate's degree, certifications or specialized training considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Electric utility experience preferred with a minimum of 5-years' management experience.
