Certified Coder

Current AHIMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or AAPC/CPC certification required. Will be required to maintain certification and complete continuous education. Previous coding experience preferred. Previous knowledge of CMS, ICD, HCPCS, CPT coding and DRG optimization experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology is required with a working knowledge of disease processes, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology required.
