HELP WANTED: Temporary Work - 4 Job Openings - Starting: 03/05/19 and ending: 12/05/19

We need seasonal employees to assist with planting, spraying, fertilizing and harvesting corn, soybeans and other crops. 

List of equipment to operate: tractors, skidsteer, spreader truck, sprayer truck, semi, straight truck, planter, combine and the farm`s equipment. 

In the spring, employees will need to ready equipment for the coming season. Starting in May through September, employees will need to plant corn, soybeans and other crops, spread fertilizer, spray corn, soybeans and alfalfa fields and haul fertilizer. Fertilizer equipment and nurse rig operator. Attach farm implements, such as a plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, cultivate grain. 

In October through December, employees will need to harvest corn, soybeans and other crops, haul grain from fields to dryer and dryer to terminal. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive grain trucks to elevator or storage area. 

Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for longevity and verifiable experience. 
  • Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. 
  • Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. 
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Employer will conduct post-hire drug screenings and post-hire background checks at no cost to the employee. 
  • The employer has a drug free workplace. 
  • Requires 3 months experience. 
The employer, B&B Agri Sales, LLC from Fountain City, WI will pay the adverse effect wage rate of $13.54/hr. The employer guarantees 3 of the workdays in the work contract. The work tools, supplies and equipment are provided without cost to the worker, if applicable. Free housing is provided to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the workday. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.
