Temporary need from 03/30/2019 thru 11/01/2019.
3 full-time, seasonal, temporary produce field workers needed.

Requirements: a minimum of nine (9) months experience. 

Workers will both plant and transplant in the greenhouses and in the fields organic produce, harvest, grade, wash, pack, cultivate and comply with all organic and sanitation practices. Frequent bending stooping and lifting up to 50lbs is required work in inclement weather may be required. 

Details: tools, shared room, kitchen facilities, and transportation provided at no cost. 

Terms: 40 hrs/wk Mon-Sat, wage is $13.54/hr. 

Conditions of employment: Workers must be available for entire work period; be able to perform manual as well as mechanized activities with accuracy and efficiency; work at a sustained vigorous pace on their feet in bent positions for long period of time.  Absences from work/or failure to perform required tasks will not be tolerated; must be willing and to be trained in USDA Gap certification standards. Workers are required to keep all property, housing, and farm buildings clean, and must adhere to all safety. Employee must be able to provide employment eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hire. The employer will provide at no cost to the worker, Workers compensation coverage. The employer guarantees to offer the worker employment for a total number of work days equal to at least 3/4 of the total work period beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or advertised contractual first day of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer shall pay the worker the cost incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer. The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage that is issued and determined by the DOL.
