FACILITIES SUPERVISOR Quartz is growing! We are seeking a full-time Facilities Supervisor to oversee the safety, security, mechanical, cleaning and landscaping services for our brand-new building in Onalaska, WI. This position serves the subject matter expert and dedicated Facilities contact for all staff on-site, taking action on facilities needs and requests to improve the workplace, overseeing and leading the on-site security team and safety committee, performing on-site preventive maintenance, mechanical equipment repairs, managing materials inventory and filling supplies requests. Key Responsibilities "Maintain preventative maintenance schedule, including but not limited to: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Elevators, Fire Suppression and Security Alarm system. "Supervise and coordinate with public agencies, third-party contractors and vendors on various facilities and maintenance-related projects for the Onalaska campus. "Develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with local police, fire, and city water and streets departments, as well as state building inspectors. "Maintain inventory for standard forms and materials, including: receiving materials, physical transfer of inventory and filling material requests. "Maintain an organized and safe shipping/receiving dock and storage area "Serve as the primary on-site facilities contact to address employee issues related to comfort, safety, security and emergency response. "Assist with the planning and organization of the Facilities Master Plan for the Onalaska building and performs staff moves and repairs, as needed - including assembly / disassembly of panel systems or other office furniture "Assist with maintaining the facilities and grounds including appropriate seasonal work (i.e. snow removal, salting, grounds keeping) "Supports security in areas of device preventative maintenance, risk management, card access system and safety. "Serve as the on-call point of contact, monitoring the company-issued cell phone for emergencies 24/7, and responding to issues as needed. Qualifications "5+ years of building mechanicals and grounds maintenance experience "Prior experience overseeing vendors, contractors or on-site facilities staff "Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Building Automation System (BAS) or Asset Management System, along with basic computer skills - ability to work independently within Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook "Ability to work on-call, available to respond, as needed, 24/7 when issues arise "Strong verbal communication skills with people inside and outside the organization "High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associate's Degree or apprenticeship in a mechanical trade is preferred. "Possess and maintain a valid driver's license This position will work full time from our brand-new office building in Onalaska, WI. Regular travel to other Quartz locations in Sauk City and Madison, WI as well as off-site for telecommuting visits should be expected.
