BCS AUTOMOTIVE INTERFACE SOLUTIONS We are an automotive supplier that specializes in solutions for the vehicle interior to ensure a safe and comfortable control of the car by the driver. The Galesville Plant produces plastic injected molded parts. Electronics Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift: 11PM-7:30AM The Electronics Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of machinery, equipment, buildings, and company grounds. Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to: Tests, repairs, and calibrates electronic and hydraulic equipment such as pumps, servo motors, electrical control panels, etc; Communicates technically with equipment suppliers; Works with computers to copy, draw, modify, and store schematics; Performs and records dimensional measurements; Performs preventive / predictive maintenance on equipment; Troubleshoots, defines, and corrects problems on machines and equipment; Designs, fabricates, repairs, and installs guards, safety devices, and electrical circuits; Maintains equipment records, completes paperwork, and orders parts and supplier; Promotes safety throughout the plant and participates in Behavior Based Safety observations; Performs plant maintenance, including electrical installation and repairs, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance; and Maintains a clean work area. Qualifications Incumbent must have a degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field; or three years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must also have a valid driver's license. Must be able to read schematics, blueprints, and operator's manuals. Incumbent must be self-motivated, organized, a good communicator, able to follow direction, work well with others, and rapidly process information; able to remain safety conscious and precise while multi-tasking in a fast pace environment; and able to handle high pressure situations know when to seek escalation if required. Prior experience with plastic injection molding equipment is helpful. This is a full-time position with a full benefits package.
