WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY, Winona, MN Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as our Health & Wellness Promotion Coordinator. This is a temporary appointment starting as soon as possible. The Health & Wellness Promotion Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion interventions and strategies for WSU students. Additional duties include (1) working closely with campus partners; (2) promoting healthy lifestyle behavior choices among students and utilizing a peer education approach to implementing evidence-based strategies; (3) ensuring compliance with the Federal Drug Free Schools & Community Act & Amendments including providing education sanctions as well as early substance use; and (4) implementing the grant funded Winona Partners for Prevention Coalition and activities focused on reducing underage alcohol use and marijuana use. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or related field.
