Notice of application for the position of Greenwood Town Patrolman The Town of Greenwood is accepting applications for the position of Town Patrolman. This is a full time salaried job with retirement and health insurance benefits. The Town Patrolman is responsible for maintaining the town roads and infrastructure to include plowing, grading, maintaining, and patching of the roadways, maintaining constructing, mowing and cleaning ditches and culverts, and maintaining equipment, as well as any other duties assigned by the Greenwood Town Board. Candidates must have completed high school, be able to work in all weather conditions, be able to lift 100 pounds, be available for weather related callout on evenings and weekends, be familiar with heavy equipment operation, be able to work independently, possess or be able to obtain a class B drivers license, live within or be open to moving to within 25 miles of the Hillsboro School District.
