Answers the main parking phone lines during business hours. Directs phone calls to the proper coworkers, answers general parking questions. Processes online parking permit orders. Back up counter customer service. This includes but is not limited to, selling parking permit, accepting payment for parking citations, answering customer questions and directing them to the proper coworkers when necessary. Needs to possess a full understanding of the parking rules and regulations as well as familiarity with the location of the parking lots located on campus. This position is directly responsible for the generating of the parking citation late notices, checking the notice file for address accuracy and sending the file to printing services. This position processes impounded vehicles which are released for parking by UNL police services and also responsible for maintaining the impoundment records in excel and in the parking system. This position also tracks any parking permits that are reported as lost or stolen. Another function would be to process all voided citations. This position will be cross trained to provide back up for other front line positions when necessary.
