The Senior Web Analysteveloper designs, creates, and modifies websites to meet departmental business needs and the needs of site visitors. Analyzes user behavior and needs and statistical analytics of usage to implement site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. The position builds compelling, informational and interactive content that allows the university to efficiently communicate and transact business for internal and external partners.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science or New Media plus 4 years of experience writing and optimizing code for web performance, device independence and accessibility required. Must have knowledge and understanding of databases and scripting languages including SQL knowledge of transaction logs and interactions with PHP. Must have ability and experience creating complex and dynamic views and content types using Drupal views module and in setting Google Analytics data collection within the CMS. Must have ability/experience manipulating, interpreting and analyzing relevant data using statistical methods and knowledge, and reporting it in a consumable format. Must have familiarity with WCAG 2AA and Section 508 accessibility standards. Thorough understanding and experience coding with HTML5, CSS3 (and CSS Grid), and JavaScript, as well as knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or AngularJS necessary. Experience using modern web development build process tools (CSS Preprocessors like LESS/SASS and task automators such as Grunt, Gulp and Webpack) to generate efficient and optimized code and media assets is essential. Experience using repositories such as GitHub/GitLab for version control processes required, as is experience optimizing written code and media assets for web performance and accessibility. Must have familiarity with emerging and mature open-standard technologies, such as CSS Grid, integrating APIs, and SVG animation techniques. Master's degree in Business or Business Management Information Systems preferred. UNL institutional knowledge preferred. Knowledge and experience with UNL Web Framework, including UNL Webaudit, aXe, W3C HTML Code Validator, WebAIM Color Contrast Checker, json and REST desirable.
