Perform, train and oversee others in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems which may include access control systems, building security systems, fire alarm systems and HVAC controls. Interpret and use schematics and blueprint drawings to complete the installation and troubleshooting of electrical conduit systems, wiring and device termination in a commercial construction setting. Coordinate work and schedules with supervisors, fellow employees, contractors, building occupants, project managers and engineers. Prioritize, assign, and evaluate work; motivate and provide coaching and feedback to team members; conduct Informal performance conversations; ensure that work progress is adequately documented and communicated. Ensure compliance with regulations including all applicable Building, Electrical and Fire Codes, University and departmental standards and guidelines. Criminal history background check, driving record review and pre-placement physical will be conducted.
