Maintain, repair, replace, renovate and perform new installations on building utility and mechanical systems; i.e., steam, water, gas, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, pneumatic controls, hardware, fire sprinkler system, EMS systems and dining room equipment. Provide input, planning, research, design, leadership and supervision (when needed) on special new construction and renovation projects pertaining to building interior and exterior surfaces, utility and mechanical systems. Must have the ability to utilize blue prints, project manuals, and construction documents related to the performance of the job. Ensure compliance with all current codes, regulations, requirements and guidelines; i.e., Environmental Health, Facilities Management, Purchasing, Accounting, fire life safety, EPA, OSHA, State, Federal, UBC, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, asbestos, confined spaces, lock-out, tag-out, hot work, lead, hazardous waste, hazardous materials and hazardous communications. Maintain cleanliness and neatness of work areas assigned; maintain records and reports. Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Plus on-call as required by Manager.
