POSITION: Information Technology Specialist

SALARY: Salary high $40 s to low $50 s commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities : Principle duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): executing and validating the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of operating system and application software on desktop computers. Coordinate and provide support for system software and end-user applications on a variety of platforms. Monitor system, network and data integrity and security. Implement tools for software delivery, virus protection, patching software and enforcing security policies. Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution for workstations, peripherals, mobile devices, and software using a variety of methods including email, phone, remote access, and on-site access. Assist with all aspects of inventory and surplus for hardware and software. Document problem resolution and maintain a knowledge base of resolved problems.
Requirements : An associate s degree with computer systems or software development emphasis or equivalent experience. Completion of a network certification is required. A ttention to detail, analytical skills, organizational and problem-solving ability is required. Experience installing, configuring and administering desktop applications. Working knowledge of PC and MAC workstation hardware and peripherals; including attached and networked devices such as printers, scanners, and copiers. Working knowledge of PC and MAC operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10 and OS X), and mobile computing operating systems (IOS, ANDROID). Ability to effectively use and support Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). This position is exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions.
Desired: Bachelor of Computer Science, three years of experience supporting workstations and software in a business environment, and completion of any of the following certifications: A+, MSCA, ASCP, Security+, Network+.
