Accountant / Business Manager -
The Accountant/Business Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations of ROE # 17 to include general accounting, policy development, cash management, budget preparation, grant management, audit preparation, and forecasting revenues and expenditures. Also responsible for human resources including Section 125 plans, health insurance and salary projections. Bachelor's Degree required in accounting or finance. Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or CPA preferred.
Licensure Specialist -
The Licensure Specialist provides customer service to teachers, administrators and ISBE by investigating and communicating licensure-related issues. Acts as compliance officer for districts on student and staff records visits. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will be trained throughout FY19 by current Licensure Specialist. Truancy Outreach Specialist / Homeless Liaison -
The Truancy Outreach Specialist / Homeless Liaison resolves school attendance issues of students by working with parents and school personnel to reduce the number of unexcused absences, excessive absences, and tardiness. Serve as a bridge between Area IV Homeless Liaisons and the local school district liaisons. Visit school, homes and network with administrators and school support staff. Travel is required, office base is in Bloomington. Bachelor's degree is required. Teaching and/or school administration experience preferred. Position will serve DeWitt, Logan and McLean Counties.
