The Village of Heyworth, IL is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time position, working up to 1,000 hours per year, to serve as the Village Treasurer and as an Office Staff employee, or, if there are not qualified applicants for Treasurer, a part-time Office Staff employee.
Only one position is available. Primary duties of the Treasurer include: overseeing the general finance and accounting of the Village; bill reconciliation and coding; assisting auditors, bond and TIF consultants; assisting the Budget Officer with budget preparation and implementation; and preparing annual filings for taxation and general accounting. Primary duties of office work include customer service and assistance and general office duties including filing and utility billing.
The successful applicant must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen and meet minimum physical fitness testing requirements. The Village of Heyworth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
