Assistant Manager, Custodial Services
The University of Iowa is seeking Assistant Managers for our Custodial Services organization within the Facilities Management department. This role is responsible for coordinating custodial services activities to provide a physical environment that promotes institutional excellence and meets customer needs. The Assistant Manager oversees multiple custodial areas which are directly managed by custodial supervisors. Facilities Management (FM) is a service unit of approximately 750 employees, including a large unionized workforce, who work behind the scenes, 24 hours a day, serving the University of Iowa as stewards of our beautiful Iowa City campus. FM staff coordinate campus master planning, manage design & construction, maintain & clean the buildings & the grounds, and provide utilities management.
