Brand & Advertising Strategist
Develops annual marketing and communication objectives; leads the development,
creation, production and implementation of brand and advertising programs and
campaigns; researches, identifies, evaluates, recommends, procures, manages,
and measures paid and earned media activity; supervises the creative team
within University Relations; provides oversight for all phases of project
management; and stays abreast of new and emerging trends, strategies,
technologies and channels.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, graphic design, public relations or related communications or business field; at least five years of branding and advertising experience; ability to negotiate with media vendors and oversee contract development with media partners; supervision experience of professional creative and design staff; strong working knowledge of multimedia design including use of Adobe Creative Cloud; excellent written and oral communication skills; and experience with strategic planning and market research required. Frequent work outside normal work hours and frequent local travel will be necessary.
