Advancement Financial Services
Serves as Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services and Treasurer of the UNI Foundation; serves as a member of the leadership management team and serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and the investment/finance and audit committees; manages the finance and accounting functions of the Advancement Financial Services office including cash and asset management, investments, reporting and compliance; oversees the development and administration of financial policies and procedures; oversees financial statement and tax return preparation and distribution as well as the external audit process; and oversees accounting and IT staff.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. A minimum of five years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably with a non-profit organization of at least $5 million in assets; a minimum of three years of supervisory experience; knowledge of non-profit accounting and reporting requirements; and experience with accounting and spreadsheet software also required. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA); CMA designation or CPA; and experience working with external auditors or tax preparers preferred. Leadership and team management abilities; analytical and organizational skills; and excellent written and oral communication skills also preferred.Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
