Solid Waste Management Commission Administrator
The Black Hawk County (Iowa) Solid Waste Management Commission is seeking applicants for the position of Administrator. Responsibilities for this position include development, administration and management of a landfill, compost facility, and other resource recovery programs; providing administrative and technical support to the Commission; and maintaining relationships between the Commission and various governmental, business, and civic organizations.
Required qualifications include a minimum of five years experience in a business or public administration position related to solid waste or environmental issues. A degree in business administration, public administration, environmental engineering or civil engineering in addition to experience is preferred. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually, dependent on qualifications.
