Coordinator of Group Sales and Special Events
Position Summary: Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley and Missouri Valley Football Conferences. We are seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator of Group Sales and Special Events.
Duties and Responsibilities:This position oversees all aspects of athletic special events and group sales efforts. The Special Events and Groups require a high degree of organization and sophistication often dealing with major donors and prospects. Many of these events also include student athletes.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of athletic marketing or group sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred, may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
Appointment: 12-month term, full-time, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
