Position: Assistant Dean for Student Services

We are seeking qualified applicants for a twelve month, term, administrative professional position in the College of Business. This position will oversee and manage the College’s student services areas, including career services, academic advisement, enrollment management, recruitment and retention, and diversity and inclusion, as well as provide the College administration with reporting and analytical data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in student development/student affairs/higher education, or a business discipline;
  • Five years of experience in university or community college settings in student affairs related area(s): recruiting, placement, advisement, enrollment management, retention, or program development for such

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related experience in an AACSB accredited college setting;
  • Staff supervision experience in an educational setting; and
  • Data reporting and analysis experience

Description of Duties:
This position will:

  • Lead all student services activities in the College of Business and ensure that related goals and directives of the University are executed
  • Lead non-faculty related matters including career services, internships, placement, communications and marketing, academic advising, enrollment management, recruitment and retention, scholarships, diversity & inclusion, and academic support assistance
  • Promote and support innovation in student services
  • Produce enrollment management data for the College (admissions, course enrollments/credit hour tracking, yield, retention, etc.) and yearly AACSB accreditation data
  • Oversee the fiscal responsibilities for student services areas, including differential tuition and minor program fees
  • Monitor enrollment trends and provide analytical analysis of same to the Dean, Associate Dean and/or Executive Committee
