FT Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Coordinator
Responsible for overall management of Hospice of the Calumet Area’s comprehensive performance improvement program & ensuring compliance with all agency & regulatory standards; maintain quality measures & timely submission of required CMS data. Individual also serves as Corporate Compliance Officer & oversee maintenance & evaluation of Corporate Compliance program. Min. 2 yrs. progressively responsible admin. healthcare work including compliance issues; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred.
Work closely with families, discharge planners & referral sources to coordinate the referral through the admission process. Provide admin support to admissions team to ensure that all eligible patients receive care.
FT position M-F with admin on-call rotation. Must be a registered nurse with min 3 yrs nursing exp including 1 year of acute care hospital experience. Management experience preferred with a strong customer service background.
Current IN and IL license required.
